Privacy Policy

Dream It Photography and Video is a photography and videography studio based in Buda, Texas. We provide wedding, quinceañera, and event photography and video services. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding it.

Contact: dreamitphotographyandvideo@gmail.com

We collect information you provide directly when you:

• Submit a booking or consultation request (name, email, phone, event date, venue address)
• Sign a contract or receive an invoice (name, address, event details)
• Send us a message through Instagram Direct, Facebook Messenger, or email
• Create a client portal account (email, password managed by Supabase Auth)

We do not collect payment card information. Payments are handled directly and are not processed through this website.

We use the information we collect to:

• Schedule and manage your consultation and event booking
• Prepare and send contracts, invoices, and event reminders
• Respond to inquiries sent through Instagram, Facebook Messenger, or email
• Deliver your gallery and event files through the client portal
• Communicate important updates about your booking

We use an AI assistant (powered by Anthropic Claude) to help respond to messages received through Instagram Direct and Facebook Messenger. The AI may answer questions about availability, pricing, and booking — but every booking still requires manual approval from our team. No booking is ever confirmed automatically.

The first time you receive an AI-assisted reply, you will see a notice at the top of the message. You can opt out of AI responses at any time by replying HUMAN(or HUMANO in Spanish). After opting out, all messages will be handled personally by our team.

Message content sent to us through social media may be processed by Anthropic's API solely for the purpose of generating a reply. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to that processing.

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with:

• Supabase — our database and file storage provider (United States)
• Resend — our email delivery provider
• Anthropic — solely for AI-assisted message replies (see above)
• Dropbox Sign — for electronic contract signing
• Meta Platforms — as required to operate our Instagram and Facebook integrations

We may disclose your information if required by law or to protect our rights and the safety of our clients.

We retain booking, contract, and invoice records for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill our services and meet legal obligations — typically up to 3 years after your event. Message history from social media and email is retained for up to 90 days, after which it is archived or deleted. You may request earlier deletion by contacting us.

You have the right to:

• Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your information (subject to any legal obligations)
• Opt out of AI-assisted messaging at any time by replying HUMAN or HUMANO

To exercise any of these rights, email us at dreamitphotographyandvideo@gmail.com.

Our website uses browser localStorage to remember your language preference. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising trackers.

Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
